Although I am proud to say that I've successfully filled up yet another black garbage can full of recyclables, I am also glad that our garbage man comes on Mondays...because the can is running out of room.
As of this Monday, it will be 13 weeks in a row that my blue recycle bin has NOT been pulled out to the curb.
Have you ever thought about all of the money the city makes off of recyclables? Don't you think it's a little unfair that we have to pay the city to haul away items that they will in turn sell for a profit?
I think, until I start gettin' a check, I will continue to have all of my cans, bottles and cardboard boxes delivered to the local landfill instead of the recycle center.

Recycling bins are really good for storage of small items in your garage like paint cans, etc. I store beer bottles, empty aerosol cans and other glass jars I can use when I go into the desert to shoot. The aerosol cans pop nicely when hit.
The landfill is OK but I prefer to just burn the crap in the backyard. My neighbors are normal so they don't mind. Sometimes we all save a whole bunch of recyclables and have a neighborhood bonfire and weenie roast. You can see the black smoke for miles. Very cool.
Keep up the good work.
I LIKE SHOOTING TOO, ECM. LET'S GO SHOOTING RECYCLABLES SOMETIME. MAKE SURE YOUR BOTTLES HAVE SHIT IN 'EM! THEY EXPLODE ALL KOOL LIKE WHEN THE BULLET PENETRATES THE HOLY FUCK OUT OF THAT SHIT! SHIT 4-EVA!

This is so idiotic that I assumed it was a joke. But others seem to take it seriously. Because the town offsets some of its costs by selling certain material (don't even know whether you're right on that), you want to instead pollute the air and ground our kids will have to live with? Seriously? No - I get it. You're just making fun of stupid people.
Keep up the good work. Recycling wastes resources:
